@wiobyrne I am planning on doing the same. Currently I have been using @withKnown as my #indieweb engine. I was going to set up a two week WordPress experiment a la @ChisAldrich but then remembered it is finals week, I had to coach three baseball games and go to a communion. Didn't happen. @wiobyrne Also remember Bridgy for Facebook is shutting down in August. Facebook is taking away access to their write API. Only way to share to facebook is use their social share buttons. You may not be able to shape your use of facebook in ways that also represent your philosophy. I deactivated. I did not quit. I know I have to turn it back on....grrrrrr...
@wiobyrne This is all going through @withknown. I haven't been posting natively to Twitter for some time. Syndication IMO works better using @withknown than WordPress IMO. I have been telling anyone who listens that I think the future of ecommerce and small business web design the PoS systems included in credit card processing services will be combined with page builders. Square, Stripe and others will own small business web hosting in a few years.

@kevinmarks @anildash Ahhh SVG, we finally figured a way to turn those pesky images into code (joking I get the lightweight low resource benefits) I jest because I do believe the semantic focus you bring Kevin is part of the DNA of the web as people have had this debate since the first browser. In terms of the silos I am hoping web responsive apps do win out
@anildash @kevinmarks Especially tutorials and documentation. No matter the level documentation plus screen capture photos/gifs/video is almost always better than documentation alone. Extra true for beginners.

@reclaimhosting needs to write a 5 page book and sell it for $40 (heck I'll write it). In that book have an access code for a student shared hosting plan. This way I can have it in the bookstore and kids can use financial aid to cover the cost. Asking department to cover #DOO is going to get really hard in CT fiscal situation. #digped
