@anildash @kevinmarks At same time I think we need to recognize the world wants an image driven web. While I agree html/css should be backbone of any social media service we need to create pathways to oboard people to the web through images and videos.
I also think machine learning is going to make images and video more readable.
So how could it work? How can we combine code and images? I would love a remixable browser where I can grab an image, throw an h1 on top and an h2 on bottom to make memes. Then when someone else peaked behind they would see the image source and attribution plus the code.
I could see the same thing with infographics. Instead of bitmaps they could use divs and icons, they could be dynamic and pull in data to make pretty graphs.
