@jessifer yet the research with online learning and grades is pretty replicable. Frequent grading and quizzes lead to higher student efficacy, satisfaction, course grades, and retention. We have to acknowlede in ungrading classes that grades make students feel safe. Hypothesis: can do the same with feedback and pass/fail.
