#edu407 Daily Update Number One

The syllabus and the first three modules are up. I will record tutorials as soon as I get out of my EDU 305 class.
How will class work?

• Many of you have taken class with me before.
• You will set up your own blog. You can use blogger, medium, weebly. Just have your own space. I will be making tutorials for wordpress.com which many people will use.
• I set up a chatroom where people can ask each other for help,
• I will take all of blog addresses  and add them to "Our Feeds" page
• I will record a daily updates and tutorials

How do I get help?

• I like to think of it how do I contribute to community?
• We will have open workshop time every Wednesday at 12:00-1:00. Stop in hang out, ask a question, just do work, do group work. This starts today. Come by if you want help. 
• Every other Wednesday from 5:30pm-7:30pm I will be offering help on your websites at Homebrew Website Club. This starts tonight. Come by if you want getting started.

How do I do group work?

• Do it well.
• Online does not mean alone.
• You can use technology
• You can meet as a group in times above. I scheduled daytime and nighttime hours to accommodate. 

Why websites and blogging?This is a literacy class. It is how we read and write.
