Moral dilemma: To kill or not to kill: Birds' Nest in Kayak

I haven't Kayaked in a month. 

I dragged by Kayak from off it's upside down perch and thought, "Oh crap rodent nest."

But when I got the hose and brushes ready I saw numerous birds. This is a problem. 

A. I moved the Kayak to my car.

B. The Kayak was haging upside down. No way I can hang it back up without possibly dropping the nest.

C. These birds look quite developed will a parent return with food? 

D. I want to Kayak. If A-C is a reality is the humane thing a quick death?
