My #edu106 @scsu photo scavenger hunt challenge

Today in #edu106 we started the photography element of the class. We began with our discussion as, "What if we turned our cameras out on to the workd rather than just using the fron camera to document us in the world."

We then had fifteen minutes to run around campus and take photos.

I share mine.

In the first photo I did a closeup of a read flower with a blurred background. We will learn about key terms like foreground, background, and framing.

In the second photo I want to encourage students to play with lines and angles. You see a shot of a chain linked fence.

In the third photo I wanted to stress the importance of texture but found this little seed grasping to a storm drain. There is a metaphor there somewhere.

The last photo is the same red flower but on a slight angle and it filling a third of the photo.
