The first UBI program falls flat on it's face. Maybe giving people something for nothing is a bad idea.

In USA I thought a progressive consumption tax (instead of income) with $1,000 stimulus checks going out would be good model.

Maybe not. Guess people do need to work to earn a living. Shocking.
