@chrisaldrich is right. While @withknown helped to bring #indieweb to a larger audience it is now maintained by a few where as WordPress is maintained by the many.
What I drew up wasn't an endorsement of any platform. It was just me trying to learn how all this stuff works using your idea of drawing mental maps.
