School Abandon iOS for Chromebooks #GAFE #IPadEd

Interesting tid bit. I am working on a contract to support iPad roll out with a local district. 

As part of my research I went back and checked with every district I have supported in their iOS rollout. This includes some of the largest urban districts in the country to some of the smallest rural districts.

Every single one. I mean each district abandoned iOS and went with Chromebooks. It wasn't the price point. Though many said it was nice to get a keyboard included for half the price.

It was the cost and trouble of trying to run iPads as enterprice devices. The ease of Chromebook implementation and the use of #GAFE just forced the switch.
