Hey student. I agree with your self assessment in your reflection. You met the criteria for your assignment and documented your growth through an artifact review. Setting more manageable goals will be a good step forward.

It is close, but not perfect. I still would have the reflection students write--the "badge application" be a reply to the assignment and the assigment recieve webmention. This allows for archving purposes.

 

A bot interface, as long as the assignment gets a webmention could be a decent application process. Script is easy to write.

 

Then a post like this would then go back to the student. I think I would play with markup a bit to make gets sound less like a product, but an assessment is an assessment. Product or person.
