Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio) argued it was one thing for Trump to travel to Iraq to visit U.S. troops during the shutdown and another for Pelosi to do so.
"I think the president of the United States represents the entire country as commander in chief, I think if he wants to speak to the troops, that it certainly honors our entire nation," Turner told CNN's Wolf Blitzer in an interview.
"I think Nancy Pelosi's been elected from a small portion of San Francisco. She should be behind her desk right now working diligently to open this government, close the border, and not pursue the open border policies she has, and make certain that we can move forward.
Why is it that people who care the most about "border wall" and "illegals" live in places with so few people are of hispanic or latin descent? How can that not be a decision rooted in racism?
Take Mike Turner in the 10th Ditstrict of Ohio. 722, 000 people live in the district. Less than 20,000 are of hispanic/latinx heritage? Only 6,500 hail from where all those "MS13 drug muling moms" come from Central America. Ohio's 10th district clearly under seige. How can you fear the great take over of brown people if there aren't any brown people?
I am going through all the most fervant wall supporters. Except for border state folks so few actually live anywhere near real life immigrants. The Wall IS a symbol of hate
