You are right on the role of reflection in learning. I may go even further. I think reflection needs to be much more deliberate, structured. In fact, I often wonder if the idea of meditating, emptying the mind, might be itself be better balanced with an opening of the mind and peeling back our actions through a lens of self-discovery.
