Students will be able to identify setting in the text.
Students will be able to use information in the text to compare characters in the text.
Students will be able to pick out information in the text to support their reasoning when asked questions.
Then make sure all of your text based discussion prompts revolve around this understanding. You may also want to think about less objectives. Remember the #CCSS are end of the year expectations. Do not try to teach an entire standard to mastery in one lesson.
