1. Data fetishization is a white savior disease about sorting ,documenting, and fixing the "gap"
2. What makes your groups great is your teaching, not your leveling.
3. There is 0% not one study supporting book leveling after phonics instruction
4. If you look at racial makeup of leveled groups can you guess where all the BIPOC children end up?
5. Negative reading identities follow children for life. Cause real pain.
6. Lower level groups often get a lesser curriculum. Reason 4 makes reason 6 racist
