I do know the way I want to calculate the effect sizes in my growth curve models violate principles of Homoscedasticity and independence, but that is a feature not a bug. I want the impact of time to build student learning. I account for this.

That is t problem with committees on higher ed campuses, they are full of people whop don't do the real work, so they have to invent work by throwing
