@eduquinn any idea on when the #connectedlearning framework was changed to a three circle Venn diagram rather than the more complicated multidimensional model...Even equity as an overarching goal seems to be gone, or not explicit, same thing
@btopro why does your website call my browser out of date. I am usually using Firefox Nightly or Firefox dev edition...never out of date and always the browser most aligned to latest web standards
@phb256 I will share list when done, top vote in #edu106 class was a 90's rewind. Did some 90s hardcore, required h/t to a few HipHop albums, Latin HipHop of 90s., now doing duos, then I think I will have to go on to Grunge.
@dogtrax stumbled onto this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmjVli7eC8M the "psychedelic" more lates 60's marketing but just a clean guitar letting the world know I can bend reality on the pentatonic scale alone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmjVli7eC8M
@megynkelly I think what you are asking Kamala is to "take it like a white woman" ain't nothing stoic about the face of a disappointed Black mother or teacher
Warts and all further proof 1984 will be remembered as the zenith of pop-culture: Peaking at No. 2 on Billboard albums chart Van Halen held back only by Jackson's Thriller, whose ic "Beat It"featured asolo from Eddie Van Halen
Hey Victoria. Thanks for being such a stellar Camp Co-Director at the @scsu #tech4teens camp with Concepts of Adaptive Learning. You and Dianne provide wonderful leadership to our young makers and hackers
Literally every teacher should be able to read through this malarkey. Every student self-reported perfect scores on science test. Me.,Dr. Conley the teacher won't say a word about learning I observed. @realdonaldtrump a bad joke
Be warned the research will be on colleagues side in terms of grades (not the late grades). Grading and points motivate learning, students report satisfaction, and perform better on content as measured by an assessment.
@totalstemteach your colleagues is mixing up two things: fair and equal are not the same and two you aren't measuring organization or professional dispositions. Late points hurt validity of assignment. Teaching to mastery = good
Here is the next #2toPonder episode @sunnydeveloper. Not only is the ask morally and ethically wrong it is physically impossible for us and financially impossible for many https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2020/10/02/next-episode-of-2toponder-still-breaking-the-myth-of-you
Some more discussion on LinkedIn as well: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/douglemov_you-cannot-connect-with-students-or-understand-activity-6712766859420188672-JJvA and look at the results from a free school I set up this summer: http://tech-4-teens.club/2020/08/04/tech4teens-passion-project-curriculum/ (none of the kids showed their faces (we couldn't afford
@GerardDawson3 On modifiers with you, in terms of templates, well loosely in the shape of common stories, writing like code is all text structure, systems and processes....nah if I was that organized I'd be a coder not a writer
Calback to @booktoss OG post always wanted to do this study...(switch replication design because I know I am right and ethics matter) one group where parents/guardian get caught reading 20 minutes and then reading log control
@sunnydeveloper Been the topic of my microcast lately: https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2020/09/24/2toponder-we-dont-need-no-stinking-faces about to record next episode. It is ethically and morally wrong and serves no pedagogical purpose
@sunnydeveloper And don't make schools make you prove a negative. They say we need to for engagement demand to see the research showing faces improves engagement (hint not one study in 30 years of research has this finding)
