Greg McVerry@MrBirdsall2020 I also use tweetdeck so I can separate feeds into columns. If you are on regular search for the hashtag and keep that opemn in one tab, search for the moderator, and keep that open in one tab.

Greg McVerry@ajpodchaski Even better learn to make it out of HTML/CSS so your infographic is accessible to all. #edtechchat
Greg McVerryYou could also have kids make a meme and then realize they built a website right after: https://mememaker.glitch.me/ #edtechchat
Greg McVerryBlobs like slugs tend to shrivel when you throw a little salt their way. Speak up, or write a grant and fortify your own shelter with tech #edtechchat
Greg McVerry@MrBirdsall2020 For me the first step is getting a blog and reflecting on your learning. Model the type of learner you want your students to be. If you ever need help launching a site on any platform, or better yet your own domain just ask. #edtechchat
Greg McVerryRSS is all the magic of the ancient web. Freaks my kids out that I have everything they write without touching the LMS #edtechchat
Greg McVerry@TaylorLorenz Not on the educational twitter chats. the retweet is a quick h/t or a way to spread a message you believe to other's in your network. There are edu chats on thehour every hour. I don't see the retweet being used simply for vapid vanity and no value. #edchat #edtechchat
Greg McVerryI am totally down to do this after #edtechchat, we put some edu buzzwords in one pile and mosters in the other, draw two and do a @pechaflickr
Greg McVerry@mrkndvs In the latest episode of 2toPonder I tried to tackle what mindfulness looks like when you are connected: http://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2018/10/30/2toponder-episode-20-digital-mindfulness-redux#unboundeq #literacies #edtechchat
Greg McVerryWhat the mysterious paper jam in the copier that really isn't there no matter how many times you open the front drawer isn't your silver bullet? #edtechchat
Greg McVerryHTML on my own website. It's Back to Future Time Ya'll #edtechchat
Greg McVerryThe biggest Blog I usually see sucking up all the tools is our data fetishism....the more a school needs digital experiences the greater the assessment blob attacks. #edtechchat
Greg McVerry@benwerd I do miss grammar and spellcheck I added Grammarly back to Firefox just to have a spell check when doing academic writing on GitHub.
Greg McVerryuggg. also forgot I have a grad curriculum committee meeting today. Estimated: none Actual 🍅planning (I chair) and 🍅🍅running the meeting.
Greg McVerryPaper and pencil. Like seriously, paper prototype everything before you even press a button or write a word. #edtechchat
Greg McVerry@sl007 I think @grantcodes runs a full #IndieWeb stack on @nodejs https://indieweb.org/User:Grant.codes now with @firebase we should be able to get a lightweight InideWeb CMS on @glitch ready to launch. Be nice to have article, photo, reply, bookmark, note and a homepage.
Greg McVerryYou could also have students make up a horror movie flick poster. #edtechchat https://movieposters.glitch.me/
Greg McVerry@benwerd will be interested in watching you write a novel on GitHub. Doing a research paper now. I am constantly thinking back to your post on how bad GitHub is for long form writing with only line by line revisions recorded.
