@indiescripter @manton2 @ChrisAldrich I am interested in playing with http://bit.ly/2pGvLDI for my online teaching. Currently we just use http://bit.ly/x4QMx sites pumped into Slack channels using RSS bots. #indieweb
@chadsansing Awesome design based research. Congrats. Dream of a day of open source learning analytics that can surface these traits in different communities.
@chadsansing Honestly I say use it as a lens after Global Sprint...well intentionally design sprint communities using framework but I think its a more powerful tool to analyze the spaces of the sprints. Thinking better off measuring how well spaces broker knowledge rather than just learner
@epikalliance Also need to add: 6. Watching video games is same as playing video games (in terms of limits). 7. Only sports games for toddlers. Except for youngest. He plays Splatoon, limit his Smash Bros. for your own safety
@epikalliance Good idea that's just part of every day. My one son isn't a maker. More into Madden than Minecraft. They also inherited my utter and totally embodied hatred of losing. That's the biggest challenge as parent. You have to know you are going up against a dopamine/serotonin pump
@anildash @mouse_org I know I have been trolling you and now @FogCreek for a few years now but maybe this could be built in @glitch We need the ultimate media remix machine. Something art forward not media forward. Like zeega and popcorn. Solid attribution record maybe tied in CC search engine
@MikeElgan Still say @google should repackage Google Plus with a package Google Music/YouTubeRed and G Suite. Create the ultimate family privacy package for a monthly fee. A new branded Google+ could become decentralized network built on families
@MikeElgan Just checked again. Over two days I logged in twice. I reported six posts and now all the explicit porn is gone. It was in the Education Community (200kish) people. Checked community as well and all porn now gone (in my feed)
@anildash @mouse_org Wow how the world has changed and leaders in tech are now fondly looking back at Flash. You can love the early open web and still hate Flash. Still love Glitch.
@dsearls @linuxjournal Until we have a better video sharing platform solution folks have to use YoutUbe embeds. Been setting up private social networks for people last two weeks. Number one complaint, "Video" I don't want to get into discussion of codecs and bandwidth. I have to say use YouTube
@ShawnaCoppola @owenpeery @rantryan @Twitter @TweetDeck Just glad to work with so many folks who know the HR room is too late and we can't just slap STEM on the front of every school. We must rethink pedagogy or at least use tech to bring the ideas of folks like Dewey to life.
