I can get a bit enough minimal data to publish treks from the Garmin metadata I haven’t tried to download data off device and just upload gpx to owncloud. I know that will work, but I iframe from there. Need better way.

@rsterbal @glitch The only issue with the HTML/microformats, http://granary.io, and internet archive example I show is Apple. Last I checked they didn't accept the feed due to a Google cert. Been a hot minute since I published audio show. Need to get back at it.

@rsterbal @glitch If you know you do microcasts, short audio or video, @microdotblog offers turn key hosting. I use @ReclaimHosting and their cloud too
@rsterbal @glitch I use dokuwiki for my poetry radio show: https://longthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/doku.php?id=notes_for_radio_show remember "podcast" just means RSS feed of audio You can use the @glitch features they announced to host shows on digital ocean and build a front end on Glitch You just need to host the audio file somewhere.
@rsterbal @glitch So what I did was save the audio files to my Internet Archive first, Made an HTML page on @glitch, and then use http://Granary.io to convert my microformats into an xml file for podcast feeds
@rsterbal @glitch I have used the internet archive to host podcast. Not sure what you mean. If you are uploading and recording client side that is always risky. If you mean do your assets save in GitHub I don't think so
