I shy away from min and max word limits, even thoguh all the data shows they work well, If I have students hwho participate too much I try to gently point them to the class code of conduct. I try to make space for lurkers with curation tasks.

@cogdog yeah we talked alot about SPLOTS at the #IndieWeb #DoOO meet up. I think the cms-less workflow you hacked together is a UI inspiration for simple easy to sing up for writing spots...Expiring SPLOTS a neat idea
So you have a bunch of employees who have little training in online teaching and you think schopols will be better without evaluating and coaching these employees....and no recording of live streams makes little pedagogical sense
