I hope @nytimes includes an expose about racism and history of land grant universities in the 1619 project... How is it all the money, power, and prestige flow to the sxhhols that teach rich white kids while #realcollege struggles?
Dear @scsu as you head back to campus facing tuition hikes because of debt be happy knowing you did your part payumibg 40 million for @uconn football, 15 million to switch leagues, and now 100 million for a fancy rec center... Meanwhile we fight for every dime
@tressiemcphd I feel like this is becoming a national crisis. We cut support for #realcollege and #highered says, "we will do all we can to protect faculty lines" They do not tell you faculty must do the jobs of everyone who was "let go to increase savings"
@EVplusEV If folks have time to debate money and status then they also have time to donate or volunteer at a supo kitchen or something....leaves to volunteer as literacy tutor....if that's virture signaling...don't care, kids need help... "Those who overcome themselves are powerful Those who know contentment are wealthy"
