I published another episode of #2toPonder where I talk about book choice and critical #literacies: https://archive.org/details/2toPonder/2toPonderSe02E19.m4a #nctevillage #edu407 #edu407Fall19 #edu307 #edu307Fall19
@holden, trying to track down a source. I think I got the claim from you, "70% of all misinformation spread on 10 web platforms with facebook owning four of them" there was like a nice chart and all
@cogdog Yes any mothballed @withknown should turn off the native comments plugin. The spam won't display and webmentions will still work.. For active users do the same and rely on webmentions or use the Askimet plugin.
@cogdog I have pinged folks in the #knownchat IRC channel in the mean time I wonder if: idno-replies idno-object idno-content {display: none} will work in the custom css plugin, other idea is copy post, delete original, paste to new post:
@cogdog 100% agree and yours is the worst case I have seen to date. Make sure you also have it set not to allow registration. I made that mistake in a few. Have never tried to go into database and delete to see what happens. Will pass along what folks suggest
@cogdog I know the pain, I have eleven @withknown instances I maintain (and that is just my personal stuff @goifnetwork another 12). Just log in, turn off native comments and that entire scroll will disappear.
