@JaimeRWood hope future doctors don't consider content in pre-med class to be enemy, or the civil engineer building bridges thinking that it's best if "everyone discovers their own equations" #digped Context matters when deciding if content matters
@gcouros 100% agree. BTW retyped your quote so folks who use screen readers can enjoy the quote from Winnie the Pooh too-"Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in our heart"
Yippeee!!! @troyhicks I think I finished up theory of change...well except for copyediting...blows the page limit by about five but we can cut later....http://jgregorymcverry.com/questionthewebtheoryofchange.html would love feedback from #literacies folks especially if you have IES exp
@holden working on this section for an #ies grant on #questiontheweb: http://jgregorymcverry.com/questionthewebtheoryofchange.html the premise is a simulated critical issue where avatars read aloud and annotate websites from a particular bias and perspective. "Its .org!" is totes in script.
Wow Google bought Socratic last year? Wonder how I didn't notice.... Quizzes and AI tutorials coming soon I suppose. https://www.blog.google/outreach-initiatives/education/socratic-by-google/ #edtechchat
@JaimeRWood we should not forget content knowledge, after decoding, is strongest predictor of reading comprehension. Knowledge matters. wont fully reject an expert/apprentice model in #digped nor power imbalance this entails in deciding what content matters

Made progress this morning on theory of change for #questiontheweb IES grant resubmission....not gonna worry about page length, just trying to frame our intervention in previous work connected to an overarching theory http://jgregorymcverry.com/questionthewebtheoryofchange.html #literacies
@buckgold1 For my #edtech classes I might just have them build a blog out of HTML....what is a blog but sequential chronological posts and try to use an h-feed to build a class stream...we will see may do hybrid approach.
