#edu407 I like to teach run on sentences in the context of sentence variety. It is a subtle shift but then you are teaching from a place of the writers' toolkit rather than the learner's deficit. Talk about how sentence variety improves writing and run-ons will happen...then teach students how to fix them like breaking things with periods and then sometimes
#edu407 you will find many students do not like the tyranny of the blank page. Sometimes, all the time, constraint can help creativity. When ever you do provide free writes offer suggested topics. In younger grades display sentence starters. In older grades provide models of different elements like hooks.

Sweet, just had to change the config.ini file and now I was able to launch the panel in @getkirby, the documentation so far has been spot on, every bump I have run into was already predicted and explained. That to me is worth as much as any code.
I think you have grown as a writer in #edu407 as well. You also have the privilege of building up sites since #edu106. I always have to remember how much you have to learn about learning to learn in my classes about learning.
Writing for an audience is real but that is a task and not so much writing anymore but we teach out students strategies for these tasks. You highlight how purpose and task change the genre of writing pience #edu407
I was able to add a rewrite condition for http to https and add that to the .htaccess file...can't really test it on a public server....I have never been one for local development environments need to see if this is correct learning curve my summer project.

Finding most of #edu407 chose to focus on grammar for their writing mini lessons. These just in time moments pop up all the time and you will do mini-lessons targeted at these objectives but it is also low hanging fruit. Teaching kids to tell their story...thats magic

@Pgogy Thanks for letting me know I will pass it along. I thought there was an option in customizer to use a full width no sidebar template, my mistake. yeah i often find myself resetting the width in WP themes to 90-100% or just installing a page builder on themes
