@Sadike25 I sent you the link on @vconnecting slack, You can register and get started right away. Slight CSS problem but I am looking into that. Everything still works, Connecting to Twitter requires authorization. You can try that on your own or we can review that step on Wednesday @GOIFoundation meeting
@peggysemingson Here is the "Flipping Phonics" podcast planning scrip: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Khb4J1zkszmS_JxW3T_zj5fuwKfUgfZPfo4nqxjUqEc/edit?usp=sharing As I we plan this I am thinking it is going to make a great student project next semester #literacies
@DomMaciejewski You could just use your own website or spin up some site for people. In terms of is it too demanding to tell people codes that depends on your research questions requiring inductive or deductive coding methods.
@calum_ryan I agree and thanks for running events for so long. I think our introduction of the IndieWeb Meet Up as a way to learn more is great idea. I think this work works in all communities if we put in the work of just asking and teaching.
@paulrobertlloyd @cennydd You start by just getting a place online. Be a model. Build a better today rather than complaining about past or lamenting for a future of vaporware. Some windmills need a bit of tipping.
@calum_ryan I do think the focus on building only for yourself, while sustainable growth possible may have caused some implicit gender bias. Trying to listen to more opinions like https://thenewstack.io/how-men-and-women-approach-open-source-differently/ and https://blog.mozilla.org/internetcitizen/2019/03/04/open-source-inclusion/
Am I surprised about historical inequities reflective in #IndieWeb? No, we are talking about reading and writing the web. The correlation between #lieracies class, poverty and racism one of the strongest predictors of reading. Why would web be different?
I am beginning to see blockchain not as a decentralized technology but one that is even more reliant on a single authority and system, but I am learning. Still I think there are much bigger problems in education than building a better database. #OpenBadges
I am so proud I get the chance to listen and learn as @goifoundation does their work. Documenting corruption in your country through the use of @wikipedia takes courage and the team embodies the power of the open web. https://www.goifoundation.org/wiki-corruption-events/
@paulrobertlloyd Could also say that is what makes it effective. You don't need widespread adoption by commercial silos. Just some place online you control preferably from your own domain #IndieWeb And WordCamp and IndieWebCamp both rooted in BarCamp. All connected
@calum_ryan @paulrobertlloyd all for critical self study around diversity and inclusion. Happy people in #IndieWeb community doing the work, have little time for voices shouting about how bad a hole we dug who won't pick up a shovel to help fill it with love

I can not find the way to disconnect @Twitter and @YouTube I have clicked all over my account and setting pages. All the tutorials say there is a "sharing" tab I can not find it.
Ahh @Ken_Bauer as a heads up, once I update to 0.9.9a I can no longer clone installs using Installatron on @Reclaimhosting....looks like I have to do each build individually.....install 0.9.2 from cPanel, add Composer through Terminal, and then push the latest package
@sadike25 your @withknown site is ready, once you make your account you can begin playing. We will have everything ready to do a demo and tutorial at Wednesday's #indieWeb and #OER meet up.
