Greg McVerry@thammerlund Here is the example I made https://drmacsspot.blogspot.com/ I receive tweets using Bridgy and then send tweets using IFTT, has proper microformats for the modern social web as well: https://drmacsspot.blogspot.com/
Greg McVerry@dogtrax some people do not get email. I keep a copy of the html snippet. Sorry it won't work for UK tonight but will record screencast tonight
Greg McVerryHey buddy
Greg McVerry@tutormentorteam We keep a pretty good list of the active Twitter chats that align to the #connectedlearning model of #clmooc on https://indieweb.org/Indieweb_for_Education#Twitter_hashtags please feel free to suggest some you think we may be missing.
Greg McVerryHey Ben https://dogzone.jgregorymcverry.com
Greg McVerry@ronald_2008 You join a WP site. Was just easiest and most accessible people way for people to join a #clmooc web ring. When you click the join link it adds you to WP, you then get a tiny bit of HTML (a table with three links and an image) to put on your website.
Greg McVerry@mhawksey I think so called web 2.0 promise isn't there because it was always a delusion. We traded privacy for a friction-free experiment and watched VC #edtech companies go belly up. Let's start building tools so students can do this all from their own blogs and websites.

Greg McVerryThat is the best description of homebrew website clubs ever @ThatMightBePaul ! We have a about 10-12 active going. @excuhme's living room would make lucky 13. Most of us too lazy to get off our couches anyway and already attend virtual European Union or Americas.
Greg McVerryThe #clmooc planet is just my a public html bundle of my @inoreader #clmooc feed. If you need any help I would love to record a video walkthrough with someone joining.
Greg McVerry@NomadWarMachine Perfect added..Really should show that page some love and find some of the compelling keynotes and videos from different folks. https://indieweb.org/Indieweb_for_Education#Twitter_hashtags reclaiming the web is a movement.
Greg McVerryHey #edu307 I had asked for some revisions to the fables before bringing it live but the team has not had a chance yet. I will modify the module myself and bring it live as soon as class is over.
Greg McVerry@ronald_2008 I added a two-step tutorial. In the first part it walks you through joining the ring. In the second part I walk you through adding the HTML. As always anyone in #clmooc here to help. https://archive.org/details/webring
Greg McVerry@OERConf Awesome!! https://twitter.com/OERConf/status/1116667955834773504
Greg McVerryOff to work
Greg McVerry@grammasheri and I could have helped by making a straight video walk through but a history parody just seemed so much more #clmooc appropriate. Had to focus there first. Recording tutorial now,
Greg McVerry@grammasheri Ron any site can join the ring. It 8s just a hyperlink to the previous site and the next site. I will make video after little league.
