Greg McVerry@fatimatlis You can trace it after every Putin speech on International Scene. The next day always an esoteric trending topic on Twitter. Sometimes a coordinated media drop. Best way #Russia trends though is letting ambassadors talk to #nafo Super Fast https://t.co/7HWvrZOcwf
Greg McVerry@Zwezda #NAFO tends to ignore those of little significance
Greg McVerry@drezzyx2 Redneck Challah Bread great for French Toast It's a round the world trip in cultural appropriation
Greg McVerryDay 11 and we found a very special treat behind the #NAFO Advent Calendar. Buddy the Elf Carrying a special Christmas Treat. Today's auction supports Georgian Legion The Advent Calendar fundraiser has already brought in well over a $1,000. https://bit.ly/3hkDt2M https://t.co/VM9pkTeTDy
Greg McVerry@fellarequests @bolcha31 One God of War #Fella and Thanks for joining #NAFO The Nonsense ends here. We must be better than the Vatniks. For we are what the Gods have made us. Brain Dead Dogs https://t.co/zgkvdrHwcq
Greg McVerry@Polina3434 @seifenmacher_m @Sunnipulse786 @AZgeopolitics Yes by Feb 2014 65% of the forces who made up the "Separatist" armies were not from Ukraine. Nothing is further from the truth than "saving Ukrainians from shelling each other" as a reason to invade Ukraine. You have to abandon all logic and truth to reach this conclusion
Greg McVerry@8thDegreeSavage I saw a few accounts bragging about reporting people for encouraging terrorism by posting different military positions within Russia. I think we saw a coordinated reporting of #OSINT accounts using the "terrorism" claim
Greg McVerry@8thDegreeSavage We know people were getting reported for sharing information about air field positions in Russia and Crimea I saw many people bragging in feeds about reporting them for suggested war crimes for encouraging a trigger of Article 5. My guess coordinated reporting efforts.
Greg McVerry@FireFellaForger @KohoTeam @Kama_Kamilia @fellarequests OMG Ukulele #NAFOOLs unite. This is amazing!!!

Greg McVerry@Jacksontrenton3 @Nico19671 @AKorybko No. We know Stalin wrote to Kaganovich in 1932 crying like a little baby about the need to secure Ukraine. What happened to the Polish soldiers at Katyn Forest? And the German invasion came through Baltic and Ukraine to start. This "Poland should thank us" vibe is gross
Greg McVerry@Jacksontrenton3 @Nico19671 @AKorybko Stop. Stalin did not need to invade Poland. Stalin did not need to partition Poland with Hitler Stalin feared another Pilsudski. He feared united Poland and Ukraine in 1920 2022 said hold me beer 100 years later truth is same. Stalin sought to conquer Poland and Ukraine
Greg McVerry@Jacksontrenton3 @Nico19671 @AKorybko Maybe scroll through the history of different pages on Ukraine. I happily update many topics. If you are in the EU just ask former Russian scholars if they have access to truth in Russia. Literally all the smart people fled Russia. The dumb ones just become Generals
Greg McVerry@Jacksontrenton3 @Nico19671 @AKorybko Not Saying the source is wrong. I am saying we see two common techniques here: 1. Passing off opinion as articles, news, or research when it does not have the same quality threshold, 2. Relying on authority out of context. This "Poland owes us Russia thanks is perverted"
Greg McVerry@Jacksontrenton3 @Nico19671 @AKorybko No my entire argument is "Soviet Union defensively invades Poland is dumb" It is fine to use opinion pieces by scholars. You should just point that out and not rely on authority out of context as a technique to shape truth
Greg McVerry@Nico19671 @Jacksontrenton3 @AKorybko 2. The 2nd common #misinfo or #disinfo technique you see deployed in this thread is the use of an opinion piece and calling it news. You see these quite often in headline collages which are a favorite genre . Yet if you spend time looking for the headline almost all editorial
Greg McVerry@Nico19671 @Jacksontrenton3 @AKorybko 1. Utilizing authority out of context. When work of "scholars" get shared that is nonsense...like Russia defensively invaded Poland in 1939 is harder to publish. The scholars are rejected. Yet people still pronounce the nonsense.
Greg McVerry@Nico19671 @Jacksontrenton3 @AKorybko Yes but the editorial written wasn't buy a Ghost Writer for some clown with weird hair (the UK not US version) It was by an academic as a university. The tweet was written to play off this authority. I am pointing out techniques uses in #disnfo or #misinfo campaigns.
