@kevinmarks @reclaimhosting @kmapesy installing from @withknown or from GitHub isn't that scary at all. Happy to show you Kristen. The sftp features in CPanel make it a 2-3 button process
In doing research on the history of standards for marking up #OER html resources I am now beginning to think @oercommons is an "open silo" I can't access anything without signing, there is no documentation on how the resource builder works, and no library I can not access without sharing personal data site says it is CC by-nc-sa but I see no link to any repo
@WarwickLanguage Great I would love to schedule a time for us to take you through the process of adding #indieweb WordPress tools to your blogs. I am -5 GMT. Thursday and Friday work best for me.
Apologies. You can access @oercommons resources without signing in, but I don't think you can check out the source code to see how it works under the hood.
And I hate when microblog the verb/noun gets auto corrected to the Proper Noun, company or url. Mean quick status updates and replies. H/T to Marcus Povey for keeping project going
@kmapesy I do not think @reclaimhosting is supporting Known anymore. Installatron is only updated to 9.2. Last official release is 9.9 and its avaible at @withknown (version I am running). There are newer versions with some bug fixes and features available from the GitHub repo but that is bleeding edge. I can help you install from either and get it to @recla
After #OER18 and some initial research I believe the time is ripe for the #GoOpen movement to embrace basic standards and create documentation that encourages learning resources to be the plainest html possible. Small HTML files are the most universal, the most accessible, and the least data costly. Shared standards are a #SocialJustice issue. Also listening
@edteck not sure if you will be at ISTE. If not and you are local we would love to invite you to the #indieweb summit this year in Portland. https://2018.indieweb.org/ Your exp with students and Wordpress is awesome If you can't make it any other edcamp organizers welcome.
@benwerd Thank you for all you and Erin did. I think @withknown has a future as an important part of the #indieweb backbone. Been using as my micro.blog gong engine for some time. With apps like Indigenous it is great.
