Yes regardless about political opinions of the #CCSS it is what we teach and taxpayers expect us to do., and while there are some progressions in Reading for Literature that make little sense it wasn't a source of controversy (besides people saying info text replaced lit) #edu305

@downes @benwerd Can't put my finger on it totally but comes down to a vision of taking one creation and breaking it into its parts or having a bunch of parts you can copy and put in different places. Even though the second seems more logical in my heart believe the first to be true.

@benwerd thx for inspiring deep dive. @downes covered it in #el30 but never really read deep into spec. Seems both simple enough to implement and expansive enough for the most niche. Vocab spawning everywhere with no one really using them but falling back on basics.
