Can you link to the page where you got the redirect to your htaccess file? I can check to see if it is correct. As a wordpressdotcom site (unless on really high paid tier) there isn't much #IndieWeb building blocks to add FYI. Just try Bridgy and webmentions
This video is so 1987 reminds me of all the Cars videos @audreywatters shared after Ric's passing... I never would have put it near the pantheon of 80s videos but you cant get much 80s cheesier than GD in this https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/grateful-dead-hell-in-a-bucket-video-908545/
Some cyclist just gotta ride. Other cyclist know being able to tinker on bike makes them better. Still others find joy in building a bike.. Some so much they will do it while riding... Need to decide what kind of cyclist are you in terms of your websites.
@geonz reason both Piaget and Vygotsky believed learning connected to frustration. Luckily #IndieWeb uses a more social model aligned to Vygotsky. This isn't developmental but social...and not your fault.
@Ebonyteach Two generations from now we may be way post-human and genetically altered to live in post gravity biospheres....not sure we will be post slavery...worry we will just export the hate beyond the third rock.
meant can't find https. This is what I think you need to do. Search your entire site for http and replace with https and then search site for httpss and replace with https. That is how I did it. As bonus you will not throw a security warning in browsers
Science and civility won in #EastHaddam congrats to the Rob Smith and Theresa Govert team: https://www.smithgovert.com/ best of luck to Bryan Perry and Carleen Quinn. I hope Rob and Theresa use many of your good ideas and we thank you for your service.
Many benefits to micropub. Major goal to remove need to create and/or use CMS publishing interface. Instead pub tools, web or native app, become agnostic can write to any site bc commitment to web standards and open APIs. WordPress or SSG all the same
Doesn't make our "America rah-rah" curriculum less racist in a reinforce the dominant narrative kind of way. Just an interesting observation as we move in linear time away from slavery but not in the social reprecussions of 400 years of a forced diaspora.
Many schools in CT do encourage, if you have to make reference at all to say "Black" or "person of color" our large island population here in CT gets insulted by the term African American. What I most love was the new logo launched for Junta https://www.juntainc.org/en/
@JRDingwall thx for all the recommendations. I added them to https://jgregorymcverry.com/following and will POSSE my notes once I fix the datetime (currently just publishing date). Messing with my following posts.
@geonz Reading that documentation and inferring from your tweets this is speculation as to what is going on...you are forcing the http redirect but your binaries (files and photos) are uploaded to http so people can't find http
The offer still stands. Share your htaccess file and I will take a look at your https redirect...97.4% of all my gist is me trying to master (and failing) the wizadry of htaccess and regex...Still say your shared host has a one button solution somewhere
@geonz I think you are on @reclaimhosting correct? Forcing the https redirect is built into cPanel if you want. @timmyboy published a video or post to our Discourse Community.
The "partnership" between @glitch and @mozilla turned to out to be not much beyond the export tool. I asked if we could just get the project title and descriptions or mass export and was told nothing more would be done beyond the export tool.
@epilepticrabbit Please export...been bugging @mozilla team to make sure MoFo curricular activities get exported to @glitch seeing almost every asset hosted on webmaker projects nowhere to be found....@mozlla is very good at littering internet with 404s
@Ebonyteach Been thinking on this a bit with our not no unsubtle racist "Ellis Island immigration day" when we were young was hard for Black 2nd graders to trace genealogy back 2-3 generations. Many young students go 2-3 generations back are post slavery
