Finishing the sentence, "My url is..." #apslearns
Greg McVerryOkay one template file made for each class. This will make webmention badge issuance way faster per class. I will eventually have one HTML file per module already populated, then it is just a matter of swapping out links and removing HTML comments.
Greg McVerry@TheBradCurrie It isn''. Such a model wouldn't be sustainable. Look not at consumption of scarce resources but to the available community knowledge. #APSLearns
Greg McVerryBumping this in the feed for #edu305 https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2019/02/27/edu305-update-here-is-a-slide
Greg McVerry@saragoldrickrab Yes! put emphasis on people not p-values. Almost 100% of research comes out with insignificant results or uses flawed methods. Would rather channel all money into participatory community research. At least this way the money puts food in mouths.
Greg McVerryhttp://xolotl.org/ Yes, it's time to make #OpenPedagogy a thing, Not simply name it but be it there are enough of us to actualize the practices in a movement and not a set of resources or tools. http://xolotl.org/opening-nouns-verbs/
Greg McVerry@saragoldrickrab Me as well, but then I lose the cutsey alliteration, and I am coming to terms that one first has to focus on the people in innovation systems. System reform from the top down fails almost every time.
Greg McVerryI just added Jeremy Knox to the #OpenPedagogy section of my following page at https://jgregorymcverry.com/following.html #BeYourownSocialNetwork
Greg McVerry@paul_vieira1 The same way we always have. Community is the curriculum. We coach, cub scout, church, or club for a reason. Digital isn't different. Model what it means to learn out loud as you engage in #OpenPedagogy #ASPLearns
Greg McVerry@TheBradCurrie Great Point. I also wonder if student achievement in any world is fostering the world. What if we focused on community and civic ready before college and career. #APSLearns

Greg McVerryThen allow passion and art to drive the way forward while encouraging students to engage in reflective practice as they learn out loud. #ASPLearns

Greg McVerry@DonaldBMcIntosh This is so cool!! Going to do the same. I would have someone check my work but I added the experimental mark up for a read post https://indieweb.org/read and made the bookcase an experimental collection https://gist.github.com/jgmac1106/8de7054b6c957e97aea657485b3661bd
Greg McVerry@rpondiscio @MichaelPetrilli @dr_ddennis bill gaining steam in CT wanting 12 credits of reading instruction in ECE teacher prep. I oppose (we have 10.5 plus field work /placement). I can find 0 studies equating credit hour to student performance. Do you know of any?
Greg McVerryAt the same time #APSLearns I think when measuring student achievement in digital learning we are better to assess the learning spaces we create rather than the skills of individual learners.
