@paulwalk I just love the fact that the metadata is in the HTML, I don't have to maintain multiple files and most importantly some new learner in Sri Lanka can hit view source and see my story and my metadata. Keeping things simple for learners important to me
Join us for an evening of quiet writing, hacking on your own website, lesson plan development, wiki editing, IndieWeb demos and discussions! All skill levels welcome. If you ever wanted your own website or have one already stop by. You can also work with Dr. Mac on anything #literacies related.
Hey #edu305 here is a working link for the second concept of print video: https://cdn.glitch.com/922d496f-efab-43f7-8936-954e4ce8b467%2FConcepts%20About%20Print%20Directions.pdf?1527531015955
But I am just me, entire library systems should probably turn to JSON-LD and/or schema.org for interoperability but for lil ol' me microformats are perfect A collection: https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2019/02/06/paulwalk-awesome-examples-of-the-consumers-are and a vita: https://jgregorymcverry.com/resume.html
Super stoked about Memex https://worldbrain.io/ I have been digging into #IndieWeb annotations and trying to PESOs Annotations so excited to explore, digging into metadata parsing now
After spending time with @drewmcweeney and talking about his goals we decide Grav is too much for a single page website... Decided to scrap it and write an HTML file. Lot happening at Homebrew Website Club New Haven
If you are looking for the teacher certification programs on @scsu new website please feel free to contact me or email mcverryj1@southernct.edu. The new website does not list any of the certification programs offered by the curriculum and learning department

Hey #edu307 here is the link to how to make the slide deck tutorial. I pinged the wrong class, my bad: https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2019/02/05/edu407-examples-of-literary-elements-slidedecks
@ken_bauer wow! Thanks for shout out. Awesome to hear people taking up our #DoOO call! Don't worry we will get @dhh to add all the #indieweb love to his new WordPress site in time
@paulwalk Wow Paul, thanks for the work on Dublin Core, I added to the page. The hard part is does metadata exist if nothing consumes it? Scalar and Omeka, do not seem to parse DC (best I can tell). In terms of #IndieWeb just encouraging #DigitalHumanities is good
You can still include Dublin Core in your site and play with #IndieWeb, many people include LinkedData as well, but most of all our tools rely on a tiny bit of metadata in the HTML called microformats. They can all play nice together but you have to repeat yourself.
