@holden @Ebonyteach You also said an #IndieWeb trigger word so the bot posted your tweet to IRC which then brought a "few" responses unaware of main thesis
@xolotl @actualham @bonstewart @wiobyrne and I started a Google Site Digital Text and Tools for a similar project... Still gets ton of hits https://sites.google.com/site/textsandtools/home?authuser=0
@holden I always wonder when folks like you or @Ebonyteach do a tweestorm if I am supposed to wait until you are done before jumping... Except don't know when you are done.
@holden @xolotl @tanbob I was responding to other stuff beyond Nate's joke and community knows Nate well enough to know good intentions being great humor. In CT we have a strict pledge and you need to apply for state approval... Districts or Higher Ed just need to see certification.
@CrazyQuilts @siRodnus Here were my original replies.. https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2019/06/05/crazyquilts-thanks-for-the-recommendation-no-experts
@CrazyQuilts @siRodnus My apologies. I was responding to both of you but the app that sends tweets from my blog was suspended for harassment. Tweeted too many times inviting folks to #IndieWeb Summit
@xolotl @holden @tanbob @BenjaminBHerold @hypothes_is @WordPress @Pinboard @indiewebcamp No, you aren't wrong @IndieWebCamp trends more technical than @edcamp. Maybe not call session FERPA but something about Student Rights and Privacy. I had to trick @ncte people to come to my tech sessions by calling them poetry.
@xolotl @aaronpk @holden @tanbob @BenjaminBHerold @hypothes_is @WordPress @Pinboard @indiewebcamp Or @holden help us bring @edcamp and @IndieWebCamp together and let's highlight how data empowerment leads to better privacy. Actually can you make the Summit this year?
Though I to am drawn to ideas of co-ops or at least alliances. Keeping up with the regulatory climate for ReVIEW is tough in itself. For the way we all teach I worry privacy is a skill, which in turn makes it a privilege.
@xolotl @holden @tanbob @BenjaminBHerold @hypothes_is @WordPress @Pinboard @indiewebcamp Been talking to you folks all day but Twitter suspended my POSSE app... Been shouting into wind... But some folks have thought long and hard about webmentions and GDPR. Some go farther.
@twitterdev My twitter application was suspended (probably because I was inviting women and people of color to #IndieWeb camp and harrassment filters kicked it). I can find no information on how I go and get my read/write access back. http://bit.ly/2ETNCgd
@sonniesedge are you familiar with @amyburvall's work on contraints and creativity. Here is a poem I wrote for her: https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2019/01/13/constraints-oncreativityseen-throughamyburvallseyesrhizomatic-learning-breeds-that
@Lucyappert I will be offering #edu522 Starting 2019-07-01 All #apereo19 welcome to join. It is an open course but you can enroll for 3 grad credits at @scsu here is the feed from @chrisaldrich an open participant last year
@Lucyappert We have many of the pieces in place already. Check out some of the #IndieWeb course materials we have been building: https://glitch.com/@jgmac1106/indie-web-learning-networks and a bunch more here is my class in the wild: https://edu522.networkedlearningcollaborative.com #apereo19
@xolotl Ha I just said this exact same thing just now: https://twitter.com/xolotl/status/1136332615202435072 Sad you won't be in #PDX for the #IndieWeb summit....total bummer #apereo19
I have been teaching the last four years using #IndieWeb building blocks, these are all existing w3c recommendations or specs. The coolest tool is probably the use of webmentions. #apereo19
