Having an Experience by John Dewey 1934
Greg McVerryThis is what I want to do for my family. Give everyone their own Known site and then use: https://github.com/mapkyca/KnownKnown for a master class. I may try this with students in the future. Each have their own site and cross post to class site.
Greg McVerryFrom the standpoint of the individual, it consists in having a responsible share according to capacity in forming and directing the activities of the group to which one belongs and in participating according to need in the values which the groups sustain. #el30 this is part of the reasons networked communities like #ds106 and #IndieWeb work
Greg McVerryIt seems http://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/read/edit tries to call Class 'IdnoPlugins\Read\Read' and isn't found...thinking the extra Read/Read is problem
Greg McVerryDecided tto remove 404 webmentions if he does not have content for what used to be on that URL Also added a redirect becausea lot of older webmentions came from http, and those might needed updating according to redirects for websites that now redirect to an https version

Greg McVerry@benwerd @cleverdevil @mapkyca Took a chance at making my first IDNO plugin for @withknown: https://github.com/jgmac1106/idno-read I can't get the editor to load on clicking the post type
Greg McVerry@mitchellbaker thinks we are a long time off to a monolithic solution...hopefully we never get back to where facebook brought us. We just need to start with a place where people have THEIR space on the web not someone elses space #IndieWeb
Greg McVerry@dogtrax if I go with 50/50 approach to my website andlet Known handle social stream I can do stuff like this: http://walkmyworld.jgregorymcverry.com/ without the subdomain. Notice all the broken links from missing #sitedeath #IndieWeb
Greg McVerryLoving this #IndieWeb demo In reply to #IndieWeb demos
Greg McVerryI always love watching what Peter does, feel likes he is a year or two ahead of me in WordPress exodus
Greg McVerryFor Dewey the only way to ensure meaningful freedom is to have complete control over the conditions that have consequences but to also making the choices to cooperate with each other in educative endeavors. Dewey would totally be a blogger #literacies #edchat #IndieWeb #el30
Greg McVerryRemix tools central to #credweb. Art onboards as many, if not more people on, to the web than code. Being able to interrogate a text by making derivative texts essential to challenging truths
Greg McVerryTwice I have needed an undo button in my last to POSSE notes. Yet I would need to toggle it off since I do Twitter chats in real time. Even better if time was a variable I could set from UI.
Greg McVerry@calum_ryan demoing his subscriptions and added himself to the the indiewebring #IndieWeb
Greg McVerry@mitchellbaker "Activism now is translating [technology] to the mainstream and what are the activities one could take and an encouragement pushing and prodding to every technologist being better."
Greg McVerry@t is up demoing a day archive and added arrows to go back and forth for each day. #IndieWeb
