@benwerd Its the small things that matter or resonate. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia was good with parking for folks who shouldn't have to think about it and on the other side I remember wanting to ring the neck of the chirpy voice in the elevator.
Just wrote the job description for my student intern who will be building an #OER course maker using @GetKirby: ------will be developing a front end interface for designing an Open Educational Resource Course Builder tool using PHP, Vue.JS and a Content Management System KirbyJS. ----- will: -storyboard paper prototypes -create PHP templates -Edit YAML files
Code of Conduct 1. Purpose A primary goal of # edu 407 is is to be inclusive to our community of readers and writers, with the most varied and diverse backgrounds possible. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and religion
@slsoftworks Do you have any links to your ipfs webmention storage demo? Even it is just a prototype. #Knownchat collective really stoked to see things move in that direction as a private p2p web is a shared vision of many
@johanbove If you were looking for a German translation of Homebrew Website Club what would mean the same as Do It Yourself website Club? or to tinker..build together?
For those following my thread on redesigning my online pedagogy based on critical feedback from my students this is the hybrid Blackboard and/or your own Domain approach I took. As a five week course spending three figuring out blogging works ain't optional for all. #edu407Sum19
Looks great and inspiring people with the value proposition is amazing!! One thing I might do is lose the micropub distinction depending on audience. Even if meant for a dev crowd I follow rule of thumb no jargon above the fold.
Anyone ever build a quick app or site that randomly opens a Dead show on the @internetarchive....ooh be a neat micropub client... Open link, publish listen post.
@ShortFormErnie I have the same thought about educators every time I read developer written documentation or sit through many developer run training sessions. There is no tech field, just bringing all skill sets to the modern world.

@slsoftworks You should check out with @mapkyca has been doing with Known, maybe possibly start there with webmention IPFS storage: https://www.marcus-povey.co.uk/2019/03/28/ipfs-plugin-cdn-support/ and https://www.marcus-povey.co.uk/2019/02/21/ipfs-support-for-known/ small steps but a lot of shared interest between your goals and platform
@johanbove You can your events anything you want. NYC and Austin just use #IndieWeb Meetup as many don't find HWC resonates. In New Haven we call ourselves Elm City Webmakers.
