Greg McVerry#GoFlyers. That's seven and we are having fun.
Greg McVerryActually, I just made that up, mainly because the C's get all the love, though probably too much cultural appropriation, so we will call it the three E's (that will goad the C's), still first framework of teaching #satchat
Greg McVerry@chrisaldirch @judell @wiobyrne I used @kevinmarks unmung with just my rss feed and that came out really close, probably think about using that if this is possible
Greg McVerry@toolness making progress on the webmention badges issued my first build set as an h-feed:http://edu407.jgregorymcverry.com/badges/helloworld.html the criteria and evidence deliberately mismatched for a training video
Greg McVerry@griffinclaa Here is a good primer on how language and power interact: Halliday, M. A. K. (1978). Language as Social Semiotic: The Social Interpretation of Language and Meaning. London: Edward Arnold. I believe HTML/CSS to be more accessible around the world
Greg McVerryWe are hoping to expand our international offerings for teaching abroad soon. I hope it works out. No better way to learn than to travel.. Well maybe teach... So to teach and travel.. #edu407

Greg McVerryYes This! fromhttps://twitter.com/DebbiSab/status/1091681395255271424 "text is a product in the sense that it is an output, something that can be recorded and studied" Halliday describing game development in 1978 #satchat
Greg McVerryA good get some thinking done mix.
Greg McVerryTook a practice test without knowing anything and go a 65% I wonder what you need for a passing rate. Time ti study.
Greg McVerryFor now just happy with the HTML export, works perfectly. Just gonna push that to production and then remember to export once a week or something.
Greg McVerryWill never ever understand how @twitter says they fight spam when you have a group of educators who gather same time every week and still #satchat gets crushed by spam. We have complained to @twitter for years, block everyone each week, but still becomes unusable.
Greg McVerry@toolness they love it! Haven't finished yet because something goes wrong lose power, browser closes etc. Now Netflix launched a show and they are determined to win. Still need to download manual to search countries. Yeah that is my middle school in a picture.
Greg McVerry@chrisaldrich @judell @wiobyrne #IndieWeb experimenting with PESOS @hypothes.is annotations: here is entire feed maybe too much javascript for performance, make look to pagination, or tagging specific groups events https://jgmac1106homepage.glitch.me/annotations.html

Greg McVerry@mritzius 100% agree. Texts have always shaped our civic engagement and used as tools of power. We also rooted this responsibility in local institutions like schools and libraries. The web shouldn't be different. I think as educators it our duty to support local web #satchat
