@Bon__Mots @Tentoads4truth Though the very real possibility exists russia's involvement with Heritage goes back to Nixon's original Ethnic Heritage Committee chair... Definitely there with Coors when Heritage was founded. Always spell name wrong Voctor Ferihday? Something like that.
@Tentoads4truth @Bon__Mots Just as much Mercer with a Regenery, Skousen, and Lahaye honorable mention Mercer to me the OG data broker. It's why every Koch network blog since 2004 has a poll.
@Tentoads4truth @GeorgeProust Let's just say we have mapped all the sex tunnels between russia and Loudoun County. (it's more than Kochs) https://t.co/NGaFdtSs0D
7. Assume your pwnd. Assume every social media account you have is compromised. Just be a good person all the time. Don't do personal stuff on work devices.
6. But research as phishing just needs to be part of real cybersecurity training you don't do. And i don't mean the compliance training available at a cost of a cup of coffee per asset. Real conversations about real risk.
5. You need sandboxed devices that are air gapped from your network for faculty that travel to China. You need to wipe upon return. Never allow endpoints to connect. Bring an unopened burner and buy a Sim when you get to China. Toss device before boarding home.
4. Consider restricting geographic IPs and TLD. Even .ru are blocked at our university (though not device level so endpoints exposed on other networks). You need additional training if you need websites for class.
2. Faculty should not have privileged access to their devices. My University allows it because faculty complain. Asked for an admin user AND my regular work account. I removed all privileges from my work account. Does run risk of updates falling out of date. Better, not ideal
@Ry5i0 @blirblinso I deleted my tweet as too many people were liking it but not seeing disclaimer that not confirmed. But yes... You point to that weird fire in the middle of the Ocean
